BUYER BEWARE!!!! Tested right out of the box. Held the face of the unit to within about 1 inch of a car exhaust for nearly 5 minutes. NO ALARM SOUNDED. Strange. Will test the other two I purchased and report back. UPDATE - Tested ALL THREE that I purchased. Held up to car exhaust. ALL THREE FAILED TO ALARM. These detectors should be banned for sale before people die thinking they are safe. Returning all 3 defective CO detectors.
