Another day, another update: if you write a negative review expect their customer service to harass you. They keep messaging me, asking me to repurchase the device, remove my negative review and, because I told them to stop harassing me, to “calm down.” Will never purchase from them again Updating my review: I’m now getting messages from the company asking me to remove my negative review and to get another dvd drive. Why on earth would I get another of the same item that didn’t work!?? Add that you get harassed if you leave a bad review to reasons why to avoid this product. Bought this for a new computer in my classroom, runs Windows 10. Even though this says it is compatible with 10, it is not. First it wouldn't play the DVD at all until I tried it on a Windows 7 computer in our office to find out it was set to the wrong region. Fixed that and now it will "play" the DVD, but it's not watchable. The screen is all pixalated and breaking up. If a product says it's "plug and play" then it should be "plug and play." I had to contact our IT department to get support and he couldn't figure out why it wasn't working either, even after adjusting settings and installing a different player since WMP is not supported by W10. Both players break up. Piece of garbage is being returned and we will get a better quality DVD drive for the classroom computer. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage. If I would give zero stars, I would.
