A friend told me about Rori Raye, and said I had to check her out. I borrowed a CD set for this program (Modern Siren) and have read the newsletters and found various materials online, like free ebooks for "Love Scripts". And watched a few more free videos. I've come to the conclusion that Ms. Raye has essentially melded the methods pioneered by Dr. Pat Allen (has a PhD in transactional psychology) along with some decades old theater training she may have had in her youth, plus some yoga/meditation techniques and mixed them together for her Rori Raye arsenal. I've also concluded that Pat Allen is infinitely better, and sadly for Ms Raye (who I believe is a former actress) Pat Allen is more entertaining and engaging. Pat Allen's work is based on the age old transactions and differences between the sexes. Her PhD work is based on the conversational transactions between men and women. Men think, women feel. If you seek out to read or listen to Pat Allen, you'll get much more succinct and helpful advice then you will with Raye's materials, which seem to be purposefully s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out over numerous products so you'll keep on buying. You can find great FREE audio interviews with Pat Allen all over the web, go and listen to them. She's a riot! She also has a couple of books. In this modern Siren "program" there's some feeble attempts to coach women at being more feminine aka "feeling". But frankly they're retarded. She brings in a girl (who sounds like a teenager) to do some sensual movement coaching. Rori Raye also coaches you to feel the energy of a tree or plant, but since the entire recording isn't actually made for "audio book" audiences, it's actually just a recording from one in-person seminar in CA, she coaches participants to "feel" the decor on the banquet table. Lame. That's just plain lazy. Charging so much for a "program" that wasn't designed as an audio book but is simple a recording from one live seminar is truly cheap and lazy. Imagine sitting at home trying to put yourself in that banquet room at the hotel and imagining a fake flower arrangement on a table (in a room you aren't in) and trying to feel the energy of the flower arrangement to learn how to be a more feeling,feminine being. She couldn't do better than that? I also have it on good authority that ms Raye's methods don't apparently work for her own marriage. She has been known to complain about her husband when she sheds her stage name of Raye. But that makes sense for someone trained as an actress. "Rori Raye" seems just a role. Do yourself a favor and listen to free Pat Allen audio online -it's out there- if you want the real material from the horses mouth.
