I am just going to write out the situation. After one ChromeOS update, the same day I got it, the touchscreen stopped working. It was working fine before, but now nothing. The device still recognizes it is in tablet mode and everything, but the touchscreen won't function at all. I am not sure if this is a ChromeOS issues, but I have looked everywhere online and cannot find a solution. I tried a reset (turns out ChromeOS only has "Powerwash") but that didn't work, I tried a hardware reset, but ChromeOS booted like normal, I tried enabling certain flags in Chrome, still nothing. I am a tech savy guy and nothing I can do can get this touchscreen working again. ChromeOS doesn't even give you touchscreen options in the settings, you think an OS from the company that makes Android (Google) would have atleast some touchscreen settings. I will still investigate and contact Google, but I have to advise against this for now.
