Nice looking shed
I looked at a lot of sheds around this size and thought the Keter looked the best - actually looked like a shed with simulated wood styling - and at a good price. Each manufacturer seemed to have its pros and cons but I thought Keter with the steel reinforcements and plentiful screws would hold up well. I did have some concerns as the biggest complaints on Keter in general were that if you happen to get a bad package with missing parts or dented material it would take them forever to send you replacements. So I breathed a sigh of relief when the box came in good condition. However there were still a few pieces that were slightly damaged - which must have escaped the eyes of their QA - but nothing preventing the assembly of the shed. In addition there was a lot of sandy like material in the packaging that was perhaps due to the unique treatment of the material. The material itself felt rougher than it looked in the photos but the side walls could still use some reinforcement as many of the screws wouldn’t tighten properly. Once fully assembled it did look good and felt sturdy.
Update: after some storms and gusty weather the good news is that the wind hasn’t blown this apart. The bad news is there’s a small gap at the bottom of the doors that the door stop doesn’t cover which let in some rain. Taking a star off for poor design there.
Update: We’re in summer now and it’s been 4 months since putting it together. One of the corners is curling up (similar to complaints I saw for their store it out midi) and spiders seem to find their way in. Though I think it still looks nice, I’m not happy with the fit and finish. Taking another star off.
