Avoid buying these cameras for outdoor use.
These may be good indoors, but DO NOT BUY this for outdoors. I bought 5 for my vacation house. Within 4 months, one by one 3 have failed and required me to go back to my house, climb a ladder, unmount them and go through the whole reset procedure. To make matters worse, one will not go back into setup mode, so I need to bring it back to town to send it in for an exchange.
These cameras are far too unreliable to use as security cameras. I do not understand what makes them fail, but AVOID USING THEM OUTDOORS.
