Violates US law, shrinks to nothing, not Egyptian cotton and wrinkles like crepe paper
The violation of law is the absence of fiber content labels including country of origin. There are no tags on either the sheets or pillow cases. There is a reason that there are no labels.
To add insult to injury of these miserable sheets, Mayfair emailed me that I had been selected at random to receive a pillowcase sample of their 1,000 TC materials. I responded with my color choice and never received the promised merchandise. They had the nerve to beg me for a five-star review.
I am accustomed to purchasing heavy TC all-cotton sheets. I have never had any set either wrinkle or shrink like these do. So much so that I need to iron the top sheet to use it. No need to iron the bottom sheet only because it has shrunk to the point that it a tug-o-war is required to stretch the thing over the mattress. I also have Egyptian cotton sheets and, to a reasonable certainty, these are not Egyptian cotton.
