Bought 2 of these, one only lasted for a few hours.
I liked the look of this feeder and it seemed to have generally positive reviews, so I bought 2 of them. Well, you get what you pay for. One of them seems fine and the birds like it. Unfortunately, so do the squirrels - while the description suggests that it has features that will discourage squirrels, they were eating from it the day after I hung it up. But it does hold a lot of feed and the birds like it, so after trying the first one out for a week or so I hung the second one up. Within a few hours I found it smashed on the ground. The wire loop that it hangs from has a very cheap crimp that holds the wire into a loop, and that crimp failed, dropping the feeder onto the ground and smashing the plastic tube into dozens of shards. I'm returning that one in hopes of getting a refund, putting a better crimp on the one that is still hanging from the tree, and trying to figure out some way to keep the squirrels off it.
