BURST INTO FLAMES!!! Sprayed the clear Flex Seal for about 30 seconds and it burst into flames! Singed my arm-hair and I had to jump from the 6 foot ladder before being set on fire myself. Luckily I had a hose nearby or the whole house would have gone up in flames. I attached a photo of the damage. I don’t know why either, there was no cigarettes or flames or electrical, nothing. The only thing I can think of is maybe the asphalt shingles were too warm. I was resting my bare hand on them and they were warm but not hot. I honestly don’t know why it burst into flames, scared the hell out of me though. My advice, don’t use the Flex Seal spray at all. But if you do, make sure the asphalt shingles are not warm or it will set your house on fire, it happened to me!
