I am a optician that uses blue light filtering glasses daily at work since I’m always on the computer. My work glasses are true BL filtering lenses. There is a bit of a blue reflection from the front and when viewed through there is a light yellow color difference. I decided to try these out as the frames were cute and I’d like to have some “cheapie” ones for around the house. Since I know my face measurements, the frames both fit well. However, the black pair appear to have some BL filtering since they seemed somewhat comparable to my work pair but the flower pair does not. The lenses are not coated with the BL filter. The reflection off of them is white and there is not any slight color change when viewed through. I went ahead and will do a replacement refund to see if the next ones I get sent have the same issue. Also out of curiosity, I’m going to take both pair to work and test the 400uv filter. I’ll update my review with the results later. Update: Both pairs do have a true 400uv filter. I received the replacement ones and both have the BL filter. I’ll be sending the previous order back and keeping these. Pros: BL filter and UV filter works, both fit well, I notice that I do fall asleep faster at bedtime. Cons: the frames are made of cheap brittle feeling plastic, had to get a replacement order to actually get two pairs with the BL filter, there is noticeable glare off the lenses.
