I bought this to protect my laptop while traveling for business. My first trip with it resulted in a broken laptop. I had my laptop in the case, with no other accessories, stored in my backpack with clothes only. I was coming off of my flight and a strap on my backpack came undone and it fell from walking height onto the jetway. The corner of my aluminum laptop chassis was damaged to the point that I could not open my screen. This product does not protect your laptop from falls.
