I have had two, both were faulty. Pink. The first one kept shutting off while ironing, the second one leaks water from where you pour it in. No I did not overfill. Also, I did not understand that it does not steam unless you press the buttons. I thought the buttons were for an extra shot of steam. This is not ideal for my arthritic hands. The settings on the dial are quite difficult for me to read-- esthetically nice, but not practical for actual use. On the other hand, I had no trouble sitting it on its end--the swivel cord on mine moved out of the way so it sat up just fine. But then in leaked--so maybe that is why they give you the sole plate--so you won't notice it leaks. Water spots on my fabric. If you are going to use as a dry iron probably ok. But there are probably less expensive ones out there that work just as well. Still looking for the perfect mini iron for piecing and doll making
