You Can Stop At The First Book
This is primarily a repeat of what I posted for the second book, but since I bought them together and read them consecutively, the same review should carry over. I’m really not sure how these books are rated so high. Based on the previous reviews I went ahead and ordered the first two. I read the second only because I had already paid for it and I thought that things might get better. It didn’t turn out that way. I understand a bit of poetic license and some suspension of realism in order to keep the story going, but these books just crossed the line. I’m not certain whether the author realizes that the U.S. did not go into Iraq at the same time we went into Afghanistan. He may also actually believe that someone could crash a car through a garage door in the middle of the night and not alert a couple of assassins just around the corner. I’m sorry, but these are not good books.
