Ordered 3 sets of these for a hunting trip this a couple of weekends ago...I had to have these overnighted to the lodge where we were staying as I didn't realize until the day before the trip that snakes may be an issue ;-). They arrived well before we did so I was very happy about that. They were packaged well and seemed to be a high quality product. We each grabbed a pair, put them on, buckled up, and tugged on the strap to snug them up...2 of the 3 of us each had a clip break at this moment. At this point there was nothing more we could do about it as we were heading out and were not about to do so without snake protection. After walking a bit, another clip or 2 broke and now the broken clips could no longer hold tension and just kept coming lose. It was infuriating, but again, we were in the middle of nowhere with no other options, so we had to deal with it. Other than the clips, these seem to be a very well made product that felt as though they could easily withstand a snake bite, although, none of us wanted to test it. These would have received 5 stars from me if the clips were metal as opposed to very cheap/brittle plastic. I have already started the return process.
