I normally purchase Samsung SSD external drives, the internal versions, T5 and now the T7s (love the T7s!) with true USB3.2 Gen speeds. I got the Crucial as it was 4TB and was advertised at 800MB read/write via USB 3.2 Gen speed levels. I got speeds of 80-100MB read/write. Tried it with the included cable, various certified Thunderbolt 3 cables and different Macs. All of them, abysmal speeds. Was wondering why it took HOURS to copy 1.8TB from one ultra-fast SSD to the Crucial one. Long story short, after a few hours of trying, it's on its way back to Amazon. To note, as always, Amazon Customer Service was awesome. Just bummed the product wasn't.
