If I could give this piece of junk 0 stars I would do... I purchased this item to take the chill off a Aqua One Duo tank I had bought for 2 x Betta fish. The AC unit in my room was positioned above the tank and the temperature of the water was slightly colder than I wanted for the fish. I wanted a small aquarium heater with built in thermostat to regulate the temperature between 75 and 84 degrees F. I ordered the Tetra 26447 submersible aquarium heater and it arrived a few days later. The heater is fixed and set at the pre-set temperature described. I added the heater to the tank and went to lunch, when I came back 1 hour later the fish where boiled alive. People do not buy this !!!!!!!!!! 1. Before heater was added... 2.
