Do not buy this printer. The ink cartridges have a chip and when each cartridge has printed a pre determined number of pages it requires replacement no matter how much ink is left in the cartridge. It is wasteful and expensive. And the printer will not recognize knock off cartridges so there are no less expensive alternatives. It also will not allow you to print in black only if one of the color cartridges needs replacing. The whole printer shuts down until you replace the "empty" cartridge. By the time I figured this out the return window had closed. I would have happily returned it. Back to HP for me.
