Gosh, I really thought I was being so CLEVER ordering these inexpensive drapery rods. The color was actually beautiful. I even had all of them installed by the Amazon installation guy. However, once the professional came today to hang my custom draperies on these rods, he very quickly looked at them and said "No way these will come close to holding any of your draperies. I made him try it anyways on some light weight blackout ones and the middle of the rod started to bend almost immediately. UGH. What a shame they are so flimsy because the color was exactly what I wanted for my new home. Returning ALL of them.
