Rug looks good but after I laid it I noticed that it was full of lumps, ridges whatever you want to call them. . I thought it would flatten out after a day or two. It didn't. I tried heavy books, then damp towels with heavy books and then vacuuming with a heavy vacuum. No luck. I then rolled the rug back so I could see the backing - bingo. The backing was creased in multiple places across the rug in line with the way it was rolled. Apparently at some point something heavy had been placed on top of the rug flattening the rug. I am now dampening the backing and placing heavy objects on it. It will take a great deal of time and effort but I am optimistic. If you encounter the same problem, check the baking. If that is the problem, send it back. It is not worth trying to fix it.
