This is an update one year after purchase. Today when I went to my vehicle after work the extention arm detached from the umbrella which brought down my rating of the product from a 4 star to a 2 star. Though convenient it only lasted one year. The plastic arm did not stand up to the 100 degree heat in VA. Below is my original review, happy shopping: The item works good. It's a little awkward to get use to but installation is pretty easy. I have a 2015 Ford Edge and bought the large. You open the umbrella then slide into place with the strap side up. I put in the bottom 1st and then make necessary adjustments. Lastly I wrap the velcro strap around my rear view mirror and velcro back to umbrella to keep in place. My only issue is that the stitching on the strap is weak and I need to sew it back on. I didn't see an option to contact the seller so this is how I'm informing them.
