Worst thermometer this nurse has ever used!
A complete waste of money. I work in a busy ER and have used a variety of thermometers. I was looking for something that I could scan quickly and get a pretty accurate read. This thermometer reads consistently lower compared to the oral temps and the tympanic portion reads high. An example, my actual oral temp was 98.4 F - the tympanic portion of this thermometer read 101.2 F and the temporal read 97.9 F. Tried the thing again - the tympanic read 99.6 F and the temporal 94.4 F. It is consistently inconsistent. Definitely do not recommend this product.
