I had all the hopes in the world that this would help lower the temperature in the garage (on a 105 degree day in PHX, the temp got up to 120 degrees in the garage). I bought (2) packages as I have a double wide garage door and they shipeed together. The pros: They were neat and light and easy to move around. Easy to cut, write on and install It is one heck of a sound reducer The cons: Messy when you cut as the Styrofoam goes every where It is one heck of a sound reducer as it did NOTHING to reduce the heat Actually, I think it is now warmer by a few degrees as once the heat comes in, it has nowhere to go back out. I was hoping for the best with this product but after spending over $150 for it, it wasn't worth it. I now have to put in an exhaust fan through the side wall and possibly get an air unit as that (hopefully) will do the job this product should have. And YES, it is installed correctly.
