NOT SPF 50+ not even SPF 30 or 15. The sun shines right through the brim with specks of UV filled rays all over my face. The weave is pathetically loose. I seriously doubt these hats made it through any sort of testing. Those of us with Lupus and other sun sensitive issues expect and need these products to live up to their labels. I'm glad I have a way to test out the UV claims before ending up in the hospital with a bad sun induced flare from sub par products like this. Do not buy this hat for sun protection.
