This book has a great story line, but the book abruptly ends in the middle of the plot. I know cliffhangers can be a useful tool, but Amazon or the Publisher (not sure who - probably the publisher) decided to split this story into 3 (as far as I can tell, who knows may be more) separate books and make more money by releasing them a month apart. This is a stupid gimmick as far as I'm concerned. If you are going to use a cliffhanger, make sure it makes sense in the flow of the story. This story breaks right before most stories get into the meat of the storyline, all the main characters barely get introduced and suddenly, the book is over. You don't even have enough time to get into the story honestly. I really like the beginnings and the plot seems like it has potential, but the cliffhanger cuts the plot off too soon to really tell, all for a little money. Cheap tricks... So be warned, only buy/read if you are willing to have a cliffhanger in the introduction of the plot, or if you are willing to wait to read the third installment (who knows, it will probably keep going b/c by June we will have finally made it to the middle of the story).
