Pressure Switch Issue (How I fixed it, too)
The vacuum, when working, is great. Plenty of suction and it's light and easy to maneuver. I would have given it 5 stars because it totally met my expectations...BUT (you knew that was coming, right?)...the roller brush stopped spinning after a couple of months and very infrequent use. Thank goodness for the internet/YouTube because after a quick search for others with this problem, I found a video with the issue listed and the fix for it. The issue is a pressure switch gone bad. This is NOT covered by warranty so it was up to me to either throw it away or fix it. To fix it...I needed to purchase a set of Torx Security Head bits and they needed to be extra long so this is a good one to purchase for this: (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MFGRZIA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) Anyway, I tore apart the vacuum per the video (lots of hidden screws) and just removed the pressure switch and spliced the wires together to be "always on". "Always on" simply means that the roller brush will keep spinning even in the locked upright position. Not even a bother and I would prefer that than having the switch go bad again. Obviously...this taints my whole review but if there's a YouTube video with a fix...it means this is happening more than a few times. Hence the crappy review.
