I had a Gripzilla on my last phone and it's a well built case, but on the already heavy iPhone 12 Pro, it was the max weight I could put up with for a phone. So with the iPhone 13 Pro being even heavier the Gripzilla wasn't in the cards for me and I decided to give the Gripmunk a try. What a polar opposite the Gripmunk is. I bought it along with a slew of other clear cases in similar price points. To my surprise and disappointment, the Gripmunk was the worst. The biggest fault is that the corners easily slip off of the phone when pressed. I could see myself tripping on uneven sidewalk while holding the phone and the corner of the screen getting cracked because it slid out in the mayhem. (Yes, I have experience here, which is why I call this the Clumsy Oaf test). Overall, I just did not get a "protective" feeling that I did with some of the other slim cases. So back it went unfortunately. Smartish makes great cases but this one needs major improvement to bolster up the sides and corners. I ended up with the Caseology Skyfall Clear and posted a review of that case too. It's not perfect either, but of the cases I tested, it was the one I felt most comfortable using.
