I love the ice this maker makes. It's fantastic. However, the ice maker is loud. It sounds like you're neighbor is doing yard work. I can get used to the sound but the reason I give it 2 stars is because the drain pan. It drains water constantly and the tiny drain pan fills up quickly. I have to empty it multiple times a day. The standing water has warped my countertop because it was next to a line where the laminate met. So frustrating. I'm about to get rid of this and go back to my $100 countertop ice maker. I've only had this 3 months. I cannot get this ice machine to stop screaming and unless you leave it in your kitchen sink it leaks water. If I could give it less than a star I would. I am throwing it away and it's ruined part of my countertop.
