My daughter went off to college and we bought her this horrible device so she could easily climb into her lifted bed. The weight said adult and 200 pounds, but that is only if it stays together and doesn’t collapse while the person is stepping on it. As my poor child stepped down, the device began to collapse and break. It sprained her ankle and cut her foot up WHILE she was wearing thick sleep socks. This stool is a death trap, or at least a huge safety issue, and I’m beyond pissed that amazon allows this to be carried, despite the NUMEROUS complaints of it collapsing. Also, she’s only used it for less than 2 months. Do not buy this unless you are devising a plan to injure someone who has seriously wronged you, and even then, this would be harsh.
