Lid has "chemical odor" after first use - which infused into the food (not cool on Christmas). Followed instructions to wash, dry and then season using Canola oil. Pan portion fine - but lid gives off odor and is sticky. We had to throw away the dish that was prepared in the pan. Ruined part of our dinner. Have returned - wish to know what the problem is and if there was any risk in the surrounding area due to this. Am an experienced culinary person - so it was NOT user error.
