Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I saw the reviews with pictures of the Hunter boots along with the Hunter box and figured this was a legit deal!! .................. I should have paid more attention to the reviews suggesting the Hunter knockoff. I'm no rookie when it comes to Hunter boots, as I own 2 separate pairs of the Hunter Original Tall Boots; I purchased one through the Official Hunter website and the other in-store at Nordstrom. I received my package today; I was over the moon excited to open it and then gush over how beautiful they were. I opened the Amazon shipping box only to reveal a big, brown and completely UNLABELED box! Hmmm......that's odd. However, I was still optimistic and continued to open this big brown shoebox. There they were laying naked inside. No tags, nothing -not even tissue paper. I took them out and gave a full inspection comparing these to my other Hunter boots. The rubber is not the quality of Hunter, no way! There were multiple spots of tiny bubbles, you could clearly see a wave like pattern down both sides of the boots and the kicker..... on the frontside of the heel(the part that has the circular Hunter stamp on the bottom) the words "MADE IN CHINA" were stamped. My other pairs of AUTHENTIC Hunter boots both have "MADE IN INDONESIA" stamped on that specific sectioned. I debated on leaving a review, as the thought of leaving even a 1 star rating seemed too generous; however, Amazon Customer Service following their ever-so scripted notecard, issued a return label so I could send these "funter" boots back to the realm of the knockoff dimension. I'll be biting the bullet and paying $160 for the real deal Hunter rubber.
