If you're considering this item instead of the HDPE (plastic) version simply to avoid chemical damage, don't bother because while the bottle is glass, the drawing straw is some type (HDPE?) of plastic which will dissolve, contaminate your chemical, and clog up the pump. Ironically, as illustrated in the product photo, the product includes an assortment of labels that can be affixed to the bottle but some of these chemicals are not compatible with this product because they'll destroy it's drawing straw. I ordered two of these. One was damaged upon arrival; a manufacturing defect in the stamping of the lid permanently jammed the pump. I stored lacquer thinner in the second and, in less than two months, the drawing straw was nearly gone and the pump was clogged. I can forgive the oversight of shipping a single defective unit but designing and marketing a product for use with chemicals with which it is not compatible is inexcusable. Ultimately, the glass construction of this product can only be about aesthetics or weight and the chemicals shown on the included labels should not be considered a statement of this product's suitability for any purpose.
