I don't know why it is so hard to find a good clock-radio. From the description this one seemed promising. But there are some big problems. Small problem is that the lowest dim setting is still far to bright. I solved this problem by lying the radio on its face at night. Second problem is with the USB plug. I thought this would be a good way to charge my phone at night but the plug only receives power when the radio is set to that input. Silly to not just always have power to that outlet. Also the buttons are a little odd. Nothing is really wrong with them but it's a bad setup. Forth problem was the deal breaker for me. If you fall asleep with the radio on this one isn't for you. The lowest volume setting is far too loud. I have solved this problem by putting my radio in my nightstand drawer at night. I guess I look for four things in a clock radio and this one failed on most of them. The sound quality does seem fine. Tl;dr too bright, no sub power, bad buttons l, and too loud.
