Bought this to have as an alternative to distract our son on long car rides/plane rides. The parental controls are so confusing. The child's profile or "home screen" is nothing but stuff that has to be downloaded in order to use. There's no screen that just shows what you already have downloaded or what is readily available on the tablet to use. My son just keeps pressing buttons and downloading a whole bunch of stuff which in turns fills up the tablet's storage. Amazon needs to rethink how they present this to little kids. Don't give the little kid all the options of what they can download. Have a "home screen" that just has the available/already downloaded apps, videos, books, etc., etc. And let the PARENT choose what to download. Not a very thought out process here.
