Anyone who gives the MU7000 TV a good review doesn't know jack
Are you kidding me? I bought this TV on the great reviews, sight unseen. My kid put a Wii remote through my 2015 Samsung 6500 TV, so in 2017 I upgrade to same size 2017 Samsung MU7000. OMG this TV is a POS. Where to begin? Let's start with the picture. Looking at the screen head on, skin tones are barely acceptable. Move 45 degrees to the side, and the average face's skin tones go to abrupt red, yellow, gray. See images attached, American picker guy looks like a sunburn across the forehead. The Samsung Soundbar K550, purchased 8 months ago, wireless compatible with the old TV, not wireless with this TV. I spent 5 seconds connecting the soundbar to the old TV, after an hour on the new TV I gave up, and finally resorted to using an HDMI cable. They reduced the number of HDMI ports from 4 to 3, and wasting one for the soundbar means I can only have 2 - my TiVo and my BlueRay, no room for Google, or Firestick - I have to give up something? I thought it was black, this is silver - would have been nice if the model number ended in S or B or something. The remote has no backlight. It's universal remote, but not compatible with the TiVo. And this is bizarre- the volume buttons on another universal remote only controls the internal speakers, the soundbar volume only controlled by the Samsung TV or Soundbar remote. I'm not knocking the soundbar, it behaves perfectly fine with the 2015 model Samsung TV. BUT THIS horrible picture quality, the TV is being returned. Anyone who thinks this TV is great must have had worse TVs.
