Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

UPDATE: the company has hired a third party to get bad reviews deleted. I have gotten seven emails from different generic gmail addresses pretending to be the business owner and asking me to delete the review. Some include wildly different stories...small business bankruptcy, ill parents, wife left him, three small kids to feed, etc. They all beg you to delete the review and claim that they will send some an amazon gift card for the trouble. However, once you delete a review you can’t add another, so you would have no leverage and honestly I doubt they would send you anything at that point. Little do they know, all they would have had to do is just do the right thing and refund me for the original purchase. I would have updated the review to say they are a good company and did the right thing. Original review: I bought this in March 2018 and it fell apart after only 8 months of normal use (in normal Tennessee non-winter weather conditions). The product is SO THIN (thinnest grill cover I’ve ever seen) that it has disintegrated and is letting water in when it rains. The pictures say it all. It is very discolored (not really worried about that, although it would be nice if it didn’t fade so quickly). One picture shows me holding it up to the sun and getting a good tan from all of the sunlight coming through the cracks. Another picture shows my grill with standing water on all parts of the grill after being “covered” with this cover. This was the experience that drove me to make the review. I understand that products deteriorate over time, but after 8 months of normal use? Very disappointing. Wish I could get a refund for this.
