I spent a lot of time researching these beds before I purchased one for my hedgehog. I read all the reviews, it was recommended by a Rescue but I wish I hadn’t. At first I thought it was great, but we were gone for a night and when I came back my hedgehog had gotten stuck in the bed and she was dead. I don’t know how it happened, but the bottom layer seemed to have shifted and her quills were completely stuck in the fleece. She was locked in a defensive pose like she was scared, she must have gotten stuck and she couldn’t get her footing. My heart is broken, maybe it was a fluke but please becareful with your hedgies. FYI it wasn’t a size issue, I definitely got the right size for her.
