I usually use Favorite Training Pads for my older cat who tends to pee on the floor by my front door (it's a territorial behavior that comes and goes; I've tried everything), and was hoping to switch to these because the grey color blends in more with my grey/beige flooring and because they're a few dollars cheaper. At first I thought they'd be great, but on trying them out I realized they simply don't do what they say they'll do - the urine leaked straight through the "Five layers of leak proof protection" to the floor. Packaging says a pad holds up to 3 cups, and this couldn't have been more than a cup or so. Rather than return them I'll probably just try using a double layer and see if that works as a short term solution, but next time I'll have to go switch back to the ones that are actually absorbent and don't leak through the back. :(
