Update: well that didn't last long. Under a year and plating wore off then stopped rolling then scratched up perfect shower rod now I need to order a new one. I see many of these some say chrome some say stainless etc. not sure if any true. A chrome plated brass would be best since can't rust. Stainless second best but not sure who is telling truth or just putting what we want to hear --- Orig review shortly after getting: Live at the beach and while others have rusted away these have held up very nice so far
