If you want your kid's lunch to end up on the floor...
I'm a preschool teacher, and have a lot of experience with the Planet Box. I love stainless steel, but these are a big pain, for kids & adults both.
Of course, the sections leak, which is a common problem with the multi-compartment stainless steel boxes. That's why they include the separate round box with the flexible lid. The problem is that the containers barely fit in the pocket on the bag. Same for water bottles. I've seen many a PlanetBox lunch end up on the floor as a child struggles to get something out of the pocket. I've also seen the aftermath of a younger child struggling to open the latch, and in the process turning the box over or dropping it on the floor.
The other issue is that the box takes up a lot of space. Individual boxes with lids can be stacked to save space. This flips open, doubling the footprint on a table. It also means that if another child needs room and tries to push the lid out of the way, it quickly goes on a lap or the floor.
I am begging you, as a teacher, please choose something else! ;-)
