I bought this blender in July 2017. Today, 22nd of December 2018 it died. At the beginning I was using it intermittently but since June 2018 I started using it every day to make a fruit smoothie, no ice, just bananas, strawberries, greens and beans (nothing hard to blend for these sharp blades). It makes it pretty fast and I was happy with it, but lately it was doing weird noises until today that completely stopped working. Attached there is a video where you can see how the main piece that makes the blades spin does not screw to the base anymore.
