Purchased june 2019, writing this june 2020. Short answer, i would not recommend this or purchase again myself. Longer answer. Out the box this looks like a great device. The buttons are as simple as and straightforward, clean design, everything needed is included so you could have it up & going in a matter of moments. There are 2 options for lighting: purple or off-white. Neither are as bright as a nightlight even, so hypothetically you could leave this in the bedroom. Unfortunately that's the end of my positive observations. The fan on this thing is truly obscene. The fans and pink noise from the computers aren't as loud. The fans on the ender 3 printer aren't even a contender for the ruckus this thing makes. It's honestly that loud. We've been dealing with the noise in hopes it would pay off. But it hasn't. It's been turned on and violating our ears again for the past 2 months solid. It has caught 1 fly and 1 mosquito in all that time. Wl tre that does prove it does work, 2 insects is anything but a noticeable improvement when mosquitoes are the state bird here in ak. Seriously, search for video of ak mosquitoes and you'll quickly understand why I say this was a complete waste of money. Unless you're just interested in a really really loud little fan to drown out the floatplanes taking off from the lake it front, in which case you've miraculously stumbled across the one review in all of Amazon aimed at you and you should just input your credit info already.
