Fire hazard
A little loud, but made good jerky on my first use.
Update:
Well, I found a nasty secret after making jerky a few times.
I used very lean meat, with very little drippings, and even then the machine will suck any dripping inside of it. There is no lip to keep juice from flowing right into the machine - and given the way the pressure works it acts like a vacuum and sucks the juice inside. Attached pics of the underside of the tray and the motor - the juices dripped under, got sucked into the fan, and sprayed all over the circuit boards. The entire thing nearly caught fire, and filled my house with smoke.
No juices could have dripped directly in the middle hole - as I kept my meat 1-2 inches away from the center and the edges of the trays.
Not only is this unsanitary - this is a huge fire hazard!
