I really liked the idea of a jump starter for a full-sized vehicle that was this small and compact. Until now, these units have been quite large and very heavy. Being an Electrical Engineer for over 30 years, I was curious as to how this unit works, so I bought one to try. It worked good for about 6 months. I started a Lexus RX-400H with no problem and I started a garden tractor twice. But after 6 months, the unit would charge to 100%, but when disconnecting the charging cord the power drops to 57% and it won't start anything--including a 19HP lawn mower. I wrote to the company, but they have not even bothered to reply. So, don't wast your money on buying this unit unless you can afford to replace it every 6 months!
