The whole point is to have clean backgrounds in your product images. The hard crease in the backdrop is horrible. One more step in the process to have to edit before your done. If anyone actually reads this , the solution would be to package the backdrop in a rolled tube to install after un-boxing the product. The one time install step greatly outweighs the hassle of the edit steps.
