Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I just opened the laptop and called my IT person to help install windows. The moment we switched the laptop on, there are vertical lines on the display screen on the left side. I have read similar reviews from other users as well, but thought that it would be a rare case. I am very disappointed as I have used Acer laptop before and it lasted me years. I have not installed windows on this machine yet, after seeing the lines on the display, and have written to Amazon for help. I am requesting Amazon and Acer to help me replace / repair this as it is unused and even Windows has not been loaded.
