I never really submerged the bag w/ my stuff in it so I can't comment on the waterproof quality. However, the locking quality is horrible. I put my stuff in the bag and I was excited to have something to protect my stuff while I was in the water away from my valuables. My daughter needed something from the bag & she was able to roll the the bag down w/out unlocking it & take what she needed. I was pissed... Obviously not at her but w/ the product. If she had been a thief, my valuables would have been stolen & I would've been left w/ just the product secured to the chair. I would not recommend this product & I'm pissed that I missed the return date to get my money back.
