Bought these for my daughter to use when she traveled to Europe for a study semester abroad - liked the feature that allowed us to know if TSA had opened her bag - followed the directions perfectly & set both locks to the same combination - when she arrived in Europe, she found that she could not open one of the locks .. no matter what she did or tried - it prevented her from opening her suitcase for the first 24 hrs of her trip - she coud not access her personal items, toiletries, etc ... After calling Amazon & having Amazon reach out to her in Italy, in an attempt to resolve the issue, my daughter wound up purchasing wire cutters and hacking the lock off .. She was frustrated and I was furious - we also could not contact the manufacturer for assistance because they do not have a cu number (even Amazon did not have a number for them) .. Amazon refunded our purchase price promptly BUT I would implore ANYONE thinking of purchasing these locks to find something ELSE .. these are JUNK!
