Don't bother if you want to use these outdoors. They are not waterproof, or weather proof. They lasted 10 days before every other star blew out, tripping the fuse for the outlet they were on. Very disappointed. I would also point out that they are not easy to use with other lights. They need their own power source, as they have the prongs where one side is larger and few other lights do. On the positive, the cord is really long, so reaching power is much easier. Still, the point of LED is they are supposed to last for years, not days.
