Mower and Customer Service Failure
This is possibly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. What appears to be a common issue with their lawn mowers if you Google them is that the mower motor stops working and a little yellow light flashes at you intermittently. This happened to mine after about maybe 20 hours of actual use, that's super generous. I called their customer service line and stayed on hold completely throughout their business hours that day. When their business hours end they boot you to voicemail. They don't call you back. I called and gave a callback number. They didn't call back. I made an online customer service claim on their website, they called me from an unidentified Michigan number but I missed that call (they called when I was still asleep in bed, at an hour when most people are). They left a message for me to call customer service. I contacted them on Twitter. They said to DM. I did and they haven't responded. Many Twitter users appear to have had similar experiences with their customer service. They also say that when you get through they tell you to take your mower to home depot for repair and that you can expect to not see your mower for at least 2 weeks. If your mower isn't back to you in 4 weeks Ego tweeted they will do something about it. So if it takes weeks to actually make a warranty claim, and weeks to repair the device, and they won't expedite repair until 4 weeks, then you better have a backup option. At this price point, having to have a backup mower is just absurd. I cannot recommend their products. I guess they are releasing a riding mower this year, it won't be inexpensive and I'd guess the riding mower to use while it's getting repaired won't either.
