I bought these as I lost the adapter that came with my phone. I used them with my Bose QC20s and they were awful. First, one positive: you can indeed charge and listen to music at the same time. However: - that music will be crappy quality because the adapter has all sorts of electrical interference when being used - the volume control on my headphones doesn't work - I have to adjust from my phone - the microphone doesn't work so can't fully use my headphones - to make matters worse, it causes all sorts of interference with my phone - Spotify kept starting and stopping, skipping to the next song, and at one point even shut down and restarted making me wonder if the adapter was actually damaging my phone. - also the power part of the adapter is poorly designed - I couldn't tell if the power cord was actually in properly there is no click like there is on the phone itself, and the adapter sort of awkwardly sticks out I realize I took a risk as an early adopter of this adapter, but they will be going straight into the trash. Big disappointment.
